The cottages, which consist of three ground floor rooms and three first floor rooms are being remodelled and decorated under the guidance of the Duchess of Devonshire, whose signature style is apparent throughout the pub.
Dove Cottages are simply beautiful; surrounded by a low wall with ivy growing on the exterior and well maintained gardens. The building itself is an interesting shape with three rectangular rooms joined by a triangular entrance hall, meaning that none of the bedrooms are adjoining the next, allowing for peace and tranquillity throughout your stay. One of the bedrooms will even have a private entrance, another offers your own conservatory and a third will boast a separate lounge area.
The beauty of these new rooms is that they are your ‘front door’ to the Chatsworth estate in the serenity of a secluded village, whilst at the same time benefiting from the convenience of being directly opposite a pub. Choose to have your full Derbyshire breakfast in the Brasserie or alternatively let us deliver a cold breakfast to your room. All bedrooms will be fitted with modern en-suite bathrooms and sumptuous king sized beds.
