With a choice of staying in the four rooms in the inn or the four rooms of Brookside House...
...our rooms are appointed to a very high standard and set in such a peaceful location.
The Inn houses the original four bedrooms refurbished and brought back to life in 2006. Full of character and those little touches you don't expect to see in pub rooms.
Brookside House was taken over in 2008 and a complete restoration took place. The four rooms are superb and ideal for couples or even a group to take the house.
Every so often we are able to offer special rates at The Devonshire Arms...
See our Specials page for current availability and rates...
Our eight rooms are full of chic and character...
...having been designed and the deco chosen by the Duchess of Devonshire and the fabrics having been prepared by the Seamstresses at Chatsworth.
Four rooms are located in the inn and four are just a few seconds stroll along the garden path in Brookside House. The rooms are all named after some of the picturesque local dales which you are able visit during your stay.
Large comfortable beds, luxury towels, wrap around bathrobes and freshly ground coffee on the tea tray add to the attention to detail in room. You will also find there those little touches to make your stay special including original botanical watercolours by Lady Emma Tennant, sister to The Duke of Devonshire.
